Boating

Our boat or yours - just so long as you spare some time to explore the fabulous waterways of the Gippsland Lakes. In addition to Riviera Nautic's yachts, cruisers and day boats, there are also lots of other boating opportunities: In Metung, there's the historic ketch 'Spray', and the sleek cruiser 'Director' for day trips on the Lakes.

In Lakes Entrance there's the Thunderbird and Stormbird that both do scenic cruisers to Metung and return. There are also fleets of day boats, Lakes fishing boats with skippers and some off-shore charter fishing boats.

In Lake Tyers, there is a delightful scenic boat trip on board the Rubeena.

The Gippsland Lakes offers a whole lot of wonderful destinations to explore by boat. Have a look at the Gippsland Lakes map on Riviera Nautic's website (link opposite).

Lake Tyers is also good for boating.

There are boat ramps and public jetties throughout the region.

Some houses offer their own private jetties, or at Riviera Nautic in Metung you can rent a berth for the duration of your stay.
