The area offers huge sandy beaches, rolling surf and great boating opportunities on Lake Tyers, in the ocean or the nearby expansive waterways of the Gippsland Lakes. The bustling township of Lakes Entrance is just a short 10 minutes drive and has supermarkets, loads of cafes and restaurants, mini golf, movies, shops and at times seafood sold directly from the trawlers in the marina. Lake Tyers Beach offers respite from the busy township but for your convenience features a general store and the Waterwheel Tavern for excellent meals and a relaxed afternoon drink.

There is a laundry with a washing machine and in the courtyard there is a full clothes line. There is a drying horse provided for indoor drying. There is no drier in this property
